==Dear Mr. Warden:==

Enclosed is an application dated December 14, 2021, received by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, from Curtiss-Wright Corporation requesting Amendment No. 02 to its export license XCOM1310/01. The license presently authorizes the export of minor reactor components to the Peoples Republic of China, for use at the Haiyang Nuclear Power Plant, Units 3 and 4.
The purpose of the amendment is to: 1) update the company name of a U.S. Party(ies); 2) add additional Intermediate Foreign Consignees; and 3) add Sanmen NPP Unit 3 to the description of materials for export.
Before taking action on this request, we would appreciate your views, in accordance with established procedures and from the overall perspective of the Executive Branch, as to whether the requested export meets the applicable criteria in the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended.
Please note that the dollar amount in the application is proprietary information. The NRC will not include this information in the public records and requests that the Executive Branch agencies protect it as well. Before taking action on this request, we would appreciate your views, in accordance with established procedures and from the overall perspective of the Executive Branch, as to whether the requested export meets the applicable criteria in the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended.
