This is in response to your {{letter dated|date=December 22, 1997|text=December 22,1997 letter}} in which you requested that the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) present the Root Cause/ Incident Investigation Workshop (G-205)in the New England area.

The current G-205 courses for fiscal year 1998 have been scheduled and are currently sized to meet NRC's training needs, which are primarily based on the reactor regulatory program. The training budget does not contain any additional funds for presentation of an additional G-205 course.' It is also unlikely that future funding would be available. Current budget projections support training for NRC personnel only.
