4 COMMONWEALTH EDISON COMPANY Zion Nuclear Power Station This Board is being established pursuant to a petition to intervene submitted by Edwin D..Dienethal.

The petition was filed in response to a notice of a proposed determination that the issuance of a license aniendment to the Coimionwealtn Edison Company for the Zion Nuclear Power Station would i

involve no significant hazards considerations. The license amendment would make several technical specification changes, reinstate license conditions that were deleted by a previous amendment and modify staffing requirements and 9906120293 990611
