Reference:
W. T. Subalusky letter, dated September 29,1997; Transmitting Response to Notice of Violation NRC Inspection Report 50-373/374-97007 The reference letter transmitted our commitment, in response to Violation 373/374-97007-02, to identify and revise the applicable procedures by November 30,1997, to require fast start testing of the Emergency Diesel Generators when air start motors are replaced. This is to inform you that the commitment will be met prior to the startup of Unit 1, in order to coordinate these revisions with an on-going upgrade to our post-maintenance testing program.
The NRC was not notified earlier of this change due to an administrative oversight on our part.
