FRESH FUEL STORAGE LICENSE CONDITIONS FOR HOPE CREEK GENERATING STATION Enclosed is a copy of the Hope Creek Part 70 license issued to Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G) for Hope Creek Generating Station, Unit'1, with the supporting Safety Evaluation Report (SER). Please note that this license contains additional conditions which you may wish to incorporate into your Part 50 operating license.
The following PSE&G commitments in their Part 70 license application should also be noted:
1      Fuel assemblies, when stored in their shipping containers, shall be stacked no more than three containers high.
: 2. No fuel assemblies shall be stored in the new fuel storage vault.                    PSE8G did not provide a nuclear criticality safety analysis for storage in the new fuel storage vault.
: 3. All storage locations in the spent fuel storage racks may be used for the dry storage of fresh fuel assemblies.
It is recommenc'ed that NRR review any deviations from the above that PSE&G requests in their Part 50 operating license.
