SUFFOLK COUNTY'S SECOND SET OF INTERROGATORIES AND REOUEST FOR PRODUCTION OF DOCUMENTS TO FEMA Suffolk County, by its counsel, propounds the following interrogatory to FEMA pursuant to $$ 2.740, 2.740b and 2.741 of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Rules of Practice.

DEFINITIONS AND INSTRUCTIONS The "Definitions" and "Instructions" for this second set of interrogatories and request for production of documents are the same ones set out in Suffolk County's First Set of Interroga-tories and Requests for Production of Documents to the NRC Staff and FEMA, dated January 5, 1988.

The following interrogatory and request for production of documents is numbered beginning where the first set left off.

Please indicate when the FEMA review of Revision 9 of the SNPS Emergency Response Plan, referenced in FEMA's letter to the Licensing Board, dated February 5, 1988, will be completed.

To the extent a precise date cannot be provided, please provide FEMA's best estimate of when the Revision 9 review will be completed.

Further, please specify whether the FEMA review of Revision 9 has commenced.

If so, when did FEMA begin its review; if not, when does FEMA anticipate beginning its review?

Please provide a copy of all correspondence and documents relating to this interrogatory and FEMA's review of Revision 9.
