Dear Mr. Palmisano:
This letter confirms the discussion between Mr. R. Lanksbury of this office and Mr. G. Salamon of your staff to have a routine management meeting on January 28, 2004, at 9:00 a.m. (CST),
in the Region III Office, Lisle, Illinois. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the facilitys perspectives on the significance, root cause, and corrective actions for the recent initial operator license examination high failure rate at the Monticello Nuclear Generating Plant. This meeting is open to the public.
In accordance with 10 CFR Part 2.790 of the NRC's Rules of Practice, a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRC's document system (ADAMS). ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room).
