This letter is in response to the NRC {{letter dated|date=January 7, 2003|text=letter dated January 7, 2003}}, in which the NRC issued an Order to Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) that modifies the current operating licenses for Diablo Canyon Power Plant (DCPP), Units I and 2.

The Order was immediately effective and requires compliance with specific access authorization compensatory measures described in Attachment 2 to the Order.

Dear Mr. Collins:

This letter is in response to the NRC letter dated January 7, 2003, in which the NRC issued an Order to Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) that modifies the current operating licenses for Diablo Canyon Power Plant (DCPP), Units I and 2.

The Order was immediately effective and requires compliance with specific access authorization compensatory measures described in Attachment 2 to the Order.

The Order requires a response within twenty days. Enclosure 1 contains PG&E's twenty-day response to the Order for DCPP. Enclosure 2 contains PG&E's schedule for compliance with each requirement described in Attachment 2 to the Order.

This response is submitted in accordance with 10 CFR 2.202 and 10 CFR 73.21.
