PROCEEDINGS CHAIRMAN KLEIN: Would you like to do the Affirmation?
MR. BATES: Mr. Chairman, Commissioners, we have one item for Affirmation today. Its SECY-08-0097 In the Matter of Progress Energy Carolinas Inc., the Shearon Harris Nuclear Power Plant, Units 2 and 3. The Commission is being asked to respond to a request by the North Carolina Waste Awareness and Reduction Network to suspend the period to request a hearing in the Shearon Harris COL proceeding until after the completion of the certified design rulemaking for the AP1000, Revision 16. The Commission has voted to approve a Memorandum and Order, which we circulated to you, which denies the motion. May I have your votes please?
CHAIRMAN KLEIN: Aye.
COMMISSIONER JACZKO: Aye.
COMMISSIONER LYONS: Aye.
COMMISSIONER SVINICKI: Aye.
MR. BATES: Thats the only matter I have today for you.
