Phillips requested that we provide additional information relative to meeting the single failure criterion as defined in IEEE Std. 279-1971 and in conformance with Branch Technical Position EICSB 18. Due to the amount of reanalysis required to ensure that the request is adequately responded to, we find that we will not be able to meet the July 6,1976, date specified in your aforementioned letter.
