VALVE YOKES SUPPLIED BY MALCOLM FOUNDRY COMPANY, INC.
NO. 1 AND-2 UNITS HOPE CREEK GENERATING STATION On March 9,1981, PSE&G reported to the NRC that Bechtel Power Corporation indicated all but one supplier confirmed that no valve parts were supplied by Malcolm Foundry.
The supplier which had not responded was Colt Industries.
Since a response has not been forthcoming.from Bechtel concerning Malcolm valve yokes and their use by Colt Industries, the following will be PSE&G's course of action:
j PSE&G shall commit that any valve parts cast by Malcolm Foundry having properties not in accordance with ASTM material specification shall be replaced prior to shipment.
