I understand that our nation needs reliable power generated by nuclear plants. When a reasonable safety improvement is proposed, the NRC needs to carefully consider it. Petition PRM-50-96 would require backup safety systems for spent fuel pools at nuclear plants. I support the safety improvements proposed by PRM     96.
