Fwd: Braidwood meeting with nearby residents Attached is a summary of the results of a meeting with local residents around Braidwood. It was a licensee meeting that we attended. Thought it might be of interest to you. | |||
Also, we are beginning to get back NRC ORISE sample results back. We offered independent sampling to a several of the residents. For the samples we took, the levels of tritium are consistent with the licenseE!s - background. We also had split samples related to 9 other residences which resulted in analysis similar to the licensee's - overall there is one residential well with levels above background (about 1500-2000 pCuries/l). Our results are still preliminary from ORISE based on short count times - they will be recounting to get the LLDs down to environmental levels. | Also, we are beginning to get back NRC ORISE sample results back.
Also attached is the current version of comm plan - its circulating for comments.
