Dear Mr. Palmisano:

This letter is to inform you that effective January 3, 2006, Mr. Timothy J. Kobetz will be temporarily assigned as the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commissions Branch Chief for the Prairie Island Nuclear Generating Plant, Units 1 and 2 (Prairie Island 1 & 2). Mr. Kobetz will assume all Prairie Island 1 & 2 licensing oversight and supervisory duties currently held by Mr. L. Raghavan. Mr. Kobetz may be reached at 301-415-1389 or via email at TJK1@nrc.gov.
