Referred Rulings On Contention Admissibility
Referred Rulings On Contention Admissibility The Commission approved a Memorandum and Order responding to two Atomic Safety and Licensing Board contention admissibility rulings in the subject proceedings concerning the consideration in COL applications of certain environmental impacts relevant to greenhouse gas emissions. The Memorandum and Order declines to review the referred rulings, but offers guidance to the Staff concerning its consideration of greenhouse gasses in future environmental reviews of new reactor applications.
 
(Subsequently, on November 3, 2009, the Secretary signed the Memorandum and Order.)
