SUPPLY SYSTEM ORGANIZATION CHANGES As described in our telephone conversation on December 15, 1982, the Supply System has recently announced some changes in the equality Assurance organizations described in our WNP-2 Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR)and the latest revisi on of Operational equality Assurance Program Descrip-tion (0(APD).Attached is a copy of the Organization and Staffing Announcement.

Mana er, Nuclear Safet and Re ulator Pro rams Establish gA/SA Programs, evaluate their effectiveness in assuring the plants are designed, constructed, and operated safely and in accordance with commitments, manage the licensing and regulatory process.

Mana er Pro rams and Safet Performance Develop the gA/SA Programs and procedures, review corporate procedures for adequacy, perform evaluations to identify trends that may be adverse to safe operation of the plant, provide technical support to the Corporate Nuclear Safety Review Board, and participate in reviews/assessments of design. (The last function to be defined.)

Mana er Re ulator Pro rams Maintain the interface between the Supply System and the regulatory agencies, define the action and coordinate the review of regulatory requirements to assure issues and commitments are properly and timely resolved, assure the Supply System is cognizant of pertinent issues that could affect our plants through contacts in industry and the regulatory agencies.

Mana er, 0 erational Assurance Pro rams Manage the Assurance Programs for all plants during the startup and operational phases.

Managers, Safety Assurance Assess the plant performance and operating activities from a safety prospecitve, assure operating experience is considered and incorporated into the operations where appropriate.

Mana er Procurement ualit Assurance Perform supplier qualifications, perform surveillances, audits, and inspections to verify suppliers are providing material and equipment in accordance with their contracts.

Mana er Audits Manage an Audit Program to verify the Supply System is performing in accordance with requirements. This includes assessments of:

9 Test and Startup activities o Plant Operations a Fire Protection Plan o Security Plan o Emergency Plan 0 Conformance to technical specifications and license conditions o Performance, training, and qualifications of plant staff o Results of actions taken to correct deficiencies in equipment, systems, or structures or method of operation that affect nuclear safety.
