Operability Inspections Public Meeting #2 Operability Responsibility Entry Criteria Jane Marshall Deputy Director, Division of Safety Systems Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation
Inspection of Operability
- The staff understands each licensee has responsibility for Technical Specification operability of Structures, Systems or Components.
- The Reactor Oversight Process includes inspection of operability decisions.
- When a deficient Technical Specification Structure, System or Component is deemed operable by an SRO while assessing entry criteria an inspector could evaluate the basis for that decision.
