The Region I Field Office, NRC Office of Investigations (OI), initiated an investigation (Case No. 1-2011-053) on August 17, 2011, to determine whether a Concerned Individual (CI), was discriminated against by Seabrook Station (SB) for raising a safety concern that iodine effluent release paths were not being continuously monitored in accordance with the Offsite Dose Calculation Manual (ODCM). Based on testimonial and documentary evidence developed during the investigation, NRC concluded that the CI was not discriminated against for raising a safety concern.
