Byron Station Monthly Discharge Monitoring Report In accordance with National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permit Number S

110048313, Issued September 8, 2000, we are submitting the Discharge Monitoring Report for Byron Station, Units 1 and 2. This report covers the period of December 1, 2009 through December 31, 2009.

Special Condition 5 of the NPDES permit requires the station to weigh the copper anodes at the end of the zebra mussel control season and to Include the total mass of copper used in the discharge monitoring report. The zebra mussel copper ion skids were shutdown on December 2, 2009. The anodes of the OA copper Ion skid were removed and weighed on January 8, 2010. The anodes of the OB copper ion skid were removed and weighed on January 8, 2010. The total mass of copper used for zebra mussel control was 214 pounds.
