Please accept this letter of thanks for organizing, directing, and supervising the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff visit to the Atlantic Undersea Testing and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) on May 20-22, 2024. The spontaneous and exemplary effort to provide the NRC staff with activities that provided meaningful insight into AUTECs mission is sincerely appreciated.
The tour of the facility, both on the ground and in the air, was very informative and professional.
It was an honor to witness what the men and women at AUTEC do to ensure the safety and security of our nation. The NRC staff cannot thank you enough for providing such a unique and well-organized experience.
The NRC staff would also like to recognize the impromptu helicopter tour of the facility. The tour was completely unexpected and was an amazing experience. Thank you again for coordinating this wonderful and productive trip to AUTEC.
