September 29, 2021 Mr. Aurélien Schwartz Metroscope 33 Rue Truffaut 75017 Paris, France
Dear Mr. Schwartz:
Thank you for your participation in the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commissions (NRCs) Enabling Technologies for Digital Twin Applications for Advanced Reactors and Plant Modernization.
The workshop was part of the NRCs future-focused research on the regulatory viability of digital twins, sponsored by the Office of Nuclear Regulatory Research (RES).
Several hundred attendees, representing research, academic, industry, and regulatory organizations, participated in the 3-day workshop. Your participation was instrumental in providing a forum to discuss current and future applications of digital twins.
In the coming weeks, we plan to issue a summary report of the workshop and make the materials publicly available. Additionally, several reports covering topics such as technical challenges and regulatory readiness of digital twins will be issued and disseminated.
Thank you again. We look forward to continued partnership and important discussions with our stakeholders on this innovative topic.
Sincerely, Signed by Bowen, Jeremy on 09/29/21 Jeremy Bowen, Deputy Director Division of Engineering Office of Nuclear Regulatory Research
