In previous years this data was available to us not later than the first week of March; this year, DAEC changed the reporting date for their data to 1 April and we did not receive it until late in April. | |||
In addition, important personnel were unavailable at various times during the preparation period due to previously scheduled training, and for personal reasons. | |||
We regret any inconvenience that our tardiness may have caused. | |||

Please find enclosed one (1) copy of our Annual Report to the NRC concerning the University of Iowa Hygienic Laboratory's Environmental Monitoring Program at the Duane Arnold Energy Center, Palo, Iowa.
