SUBJECT Discuss draft technical requests for additional information (RAIs) for the NAC Multipurpose (NAC-MPC) storage system certificate of compliance (CoC) renewal application and agree upon expected response from NAC International.
SUMMARY
A teleconference was held between NRC and NAC International to discuss the draft technical RAIs on the NAC-MPC CoC renewal application, which were provided to NAC International on February 8, 2021. A list of the participants is provided on page two.
The purpose of the call was to: (1) ensure a common understanding of the RAIs; (2) ensure that the RAIs are not already addressed in the current submittal; and (3) establish an appropriate response date for NAC International to respond to the RAIs.
The participants came to a common understanding on the RAIs. The parties agreed to an RAI response date of approximately 90 days from the issuance of the RAI transmittal letter.
