Enclosed is a letter from General Electric requesting an amendment to export license XSUM01630 to increase the quantity of material authorized for export by an additional 210,000 kilograms uraniun (containing 6,650 kilograms uranium-235, 4.0% enriched). The additional material will cover four (4) additional reload batches of fuel for the Cofrentes Nuclear Power Reactor in Spain.

A letter of assurance is required that the material will be subject to all of the terms and conditions of an agreement for cooperation. Your assistance in obtaining the necessary assurance letter will be appreciated, i
