Dear Dr. Patrick:

In accordance with the task order procedures of the subject contract, this l

letter definitizes Task Order No.1. This effort shall be performed in accordance with the enclosed Statement of Work and the Contractor's technical l

l proposal submitted with the proposal for the basic contract award. The l

effective date of this task order shall be May 27, 1997.

Task Order No.1 shall be in effect from May 27, 1997 through September 26.

l 1997 with a cost ceiling of $137,190. The amount of $123,518 represents the i

total estimated reimbursable costs, the amount of $3,791 represents the cost of facility capital. and the amount of $9,881 represents the fixed fee for j

this task order.
