requesting an amendment to its export license XUO8597 to increase the quantity of material authorized for export to Switzerland from 10,000 kilograms of depleted uranium as metal to 25,000 kilograms of depleted uranium as metal. The material will be exported to the CERN Laboratory in Switzerland where it will be used for experimental testing in a calorimeter. The resulting data will be used by U.S. universities for general physics studies.
