Revision to the Expected Fuel Load Dates For LaSalle County Station Unit 2 and Ofron Station Units 1 and 2 NRC 00cket Nos. 50-374, 50-454/455

Dear Mr. Keppler:

The most recent budget review of the schedule of construction activities and preoperational testing has resulted in a change in the estimate of the fuel load dates of LaSalle County Station Unit 2 and Byron Station Units 1 and 2 to slightly later dates.

The current estimate is that fuel can be loaded in LaSalle and in Byron Units County Unit 2 by not later than October 1, 1983,ively.

1 and 2 in December, 1983 and May 1985, respect While it is conceivable that fuel loading could be accomplished earlier, Commonwealth Edison Company is using these dates for planning purposes.

There are, of course, contingencies which could cause fuel load to occur later than the above dates.

I will continue to keep you advised of any changes in the scheduled fuel load date for these units.
