SUMMARY

OF MANAGEMENTACTIONS FFD PROGRAM No significant program changes occurred in the six months ending December 31, 1996.

RG&E's annual testing rate is 50%.

NOTICES OF VIOLATIONS During an NRC inspection conducted on October 7-'11, 1996 of the Access Authorization Program (Inspection Report No. 50-244/96-10, dated November 26, 1996), violations of two Fitness For Duty (FFD) requirements were identified. One violation was for refresher supervisor training not being completed on a nominal 12 month frequency for certain supervisors.

The second violation was for the random testing process.

Specifically, an employee was selected for random testing and was available on site but was not tested.

Both were Severity Level IV violations.

A response to the violations, identifying the corrective

actions, was submitted on December 20, 1996.
