Subject AREA EAST OF PCRT HUDSON BATTLEFIELD I have included certain information which we hope vill be of help in establishing that this area is a " growing residential area".

In checking the microfilm files of the East Baton Rouge Public Works Department, Building Permit and Inspection Division, we were able to establish these statistics for new single family dwellings lo-cated in this area for each of the last five years.

1975 1976 1977 1978 1979 3h ho 52 63 29 The towns of Zachary, LA and Baker, LA are situated in such proximity to this area that they are expected to continue exerting residential expansion into this region. Below are population figures which were available for certain years in the ' incorporated areas of these towns.

They were offered by the Zachary Chamber of Cc=nerce and the Baker Mayor's Office respectively.

ZACHARY, LCUISIMIA 1970 1979 h,88h 7,120 BAKER, LOUISIANA 1970 1973 1976 1980 8,281 9,7f7 11,3ho 12,500 (Estimate)
