I hope this letter finds you well and protecting the interests of the

Unfortunately my husband and l are un-able to attend the june nearing but we would appreciate your reading this letter into the hearing record.

We are both de ply concerned about the dangers and thoughtless procedures involved in the Florida Power and Light nuclear processes.

From: the begin-ning we feel they have been reckless and irresponsible in all aspects of their nuclearwork (except of course their P.R. division). They have proven over and over acain that they are interested in profit and not safe-ty. The Turkey Point Power Plant is a frightening symbol of their profit crazed effort to increase their pro'fi-ts at the expense of the consumers

-health and well being.

We would hope, given the horrible safety record and dismal s,tate of repair of the Turkey Point Power Plant, that the commission would insist on cl.osing the plant down and re,using, permission to work on any new plants.

The alternative enrgy sources in S. Florida are abundar t and I'm sure i FLorida Power and Light would put their corporate minds to it, they would ind a way of making money and providing us with a safe and renewable source of energy.

We are keeping our electricity consumption down, we'e invested, in solar water heaters and natural gas.

We are willing to do whatever we need to in order to insure,a safe future for our children and our community.

Please don't ie-. Florida and endanger our health.
