- UNIT 2 MAY 1991 SALEM UNIT NO. 2 The Unit began the period operating at full power and continued operating at essentially full power until May 11, 1991, when the Unit was taken out of service for a scheduled maintenance outage in preparation for the summer loads. The planned maintenance outage was completed on schedule and the Unit was synchronized on May 22, 1991.

During the subsequent power ascension, delays were encountered due to Individual Rod Position Indication caiibration requirements. The power escalation was temporarily held ay 94% to plug tubes in 22B Feedwater Heater and adjust the level controls. The Unit achieved 100% power on May 25, 1991, and continued to operate at that level for the remainder of the period.}}
