==Dear Mr. Miller:==

This e-mail is to provide the status of the petition for rulemaking (PRM) that you submitted to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), PRM-20-29, dated February 13, 2015 (Accession No. ML15057A349 in the NRCs Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS)).
The NRC received two additional petitions on the same topic (PRM-20-28 and PRM-20-30); all three petitions were docketed using the same Docket ID (NRC-2015-0057). You requested that the NRC amend its requirements in Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR)
Part 20 to eliminate the use of the Linear No-Threshold paradigm and take radiation hormesis into account.
Due to the large volume of public comments received and the complexity of the issues, the three petitions for rulemaking remain under consideration by the NRC. Since the last update, the NRC continues to work diligently to make a determination regarding the petitions and will inform you of the status of the NRCs consideration of your PRM consistent with current requirements in 10 CFR Part 2, Subpart H, and the NRCs internal practices and procedures on PRMs. Publicly-available information on your PRM is available on the NRC public website at https://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/doc-collections/rulemaking-ruleforum/petitions-by-year/2015/.

Dear Mr. Miller:

Please note that I am filling in for Vanessa Cox for the next 6 months. If you have any comments, questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.
