The Respondents are the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and the United States of America.

• No. 14-1217, Natural Resources Defense Council v. US. Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Petitioner in No. 12-1217 is the Natural Resources Defense Council. Respondents are the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and the United States of America.

The Nuclear Energy Institute, Inc., Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc.,

Northern States Power Company and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts have filed petitions to intervene in the consolidated proceedings. The Tennessee Valley Authority has inquired of the Petitioner regarding intervention but, to date, no petition has been filed.

The Petitioner is not aware of any request for participation as an amicus curiae in this proceeding.

1. Rulings Under Review Petitioners seek review of the following NRC rulemaking decisions:

• Continued Storage of Spent Nuclear Fuel, Final Rule, 79 Fed. Reg.

56,238 (Sept. 19, 2014)(effective on October 20, 2014)(voted on by the Commission on Aug, 26, 2014, CVR 2014-0072 (August 26, 2014)); and

• Generic Environmental Impact Statement for Continued Storage of Spent Nuclear Fuel, 79 Fed. Reg. 56,263 (Sept. 19, 2014) (voted on by the Commission on Aug, 26, 2014, CVR 2014-0072 (August 26, 2014)).

2. Related Cases This case has been consolidated with Case Nos. 14-1210, 14-1216, and 14-1217, which are described above. Those petitions for review challenge the same NRC decisions that Petitioner challenges here.
