Perry Nuclear Power Plant Docket No. 50-440, License No. NPF-58 Change to Schedule for Submittal of License Renewal Application By letter dated July 22, 2010 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. MLI102110085), FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company (FENOC) provided the planned submittal date for the License Renewal Application for the Perry Nuclear Power Plant (PNPP).The preparation and submittal schedule for the PNPP License Renewal Application has been revised to ensure adequate time to prepare a quality application and complete the requisite reviews. As requested by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) in Regulatory Issue Summary (RIS) 2009-06, "Importance of Giving NRC Advance Notice of Intent To Pursue License Renewal," FENOC hereby submits the updated schedule information.
The application is now scheduled to be submitted in September of 2015.This schedule is provided for NRC use in planning the PNPP License Renewal Application reviews.There are no regulatory commitments contained in this letter.
