DESCRIPTION OF REQUESTED RECORDS:

MOU between the American Board of Nuclear Medicine, the American Board of Radiology for Therapeutic Radiology, and the American Board of Radiology for Diagnostic Radiology with the NRC that verifies their approved residency training programs are in compliance with 10 CFR 35, and letters from the NRC accepting the boards' assurances.

Per NMSS, NRC did not, and does not currently have, a Memorandum of Understanding between NRC and the American Board of Nuclear Medicine, the American Board of Radiology for Therapeutic Radiology, or the American Board of Radiology for Diagnostic Radiology. Responsive records covers only two boards because the American Board of Radiology submitted information for its sub specialties therapeutic radiology and diagnostic radiology in the same correspondence.

These two boards submitted information in the 2001 to 2002 timeframe requesting recognition of their boards as meeting the new requirement for recognition of the Boards by NRC.
