The applicant is requesting to export 0.105 effective kilograms of low-enriched uranium in the form of uranium dioxide to Canada for fuel fabrication and use in the Slowpoke-2 Reactor. The fabricated fuel will be used to load a new core into the reactor, operated by the Royal Military College of Canada. | |||
Assurances from the Canadian government that the material will be subject to all of the terms and conditions of an agreement for cooperation , are required. Your assistance in obtaining the necessary assurances will be appreciated . | |||
Please note that some of the material is of Canad/ 7 in. It thus has Canadian obligations. | |||
