OF THE MARCH 29, 2018, PUBLIC MEETING BETWEEN THE U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION AND INSTITUTE OF NUCLEAR POWER OPERATIONS On March 29, 2018, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) participated in the annual Category 1 public meeting between the NRC and the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) at NRC Headquarters in Rockville, MD. This meeting was the annual public information exchange meeting between the NRC and INPO as described in the INPO-NRC Memorandum of Agreement. The NRC and INPO representatives exchanged information on major activities to avoid unnecessary and unintentional duplication of activities and to identify areas where independent activities by other organizations were warranted. After the open session, a closed session was conducted to permit dialogue that included INPO proprietary information. The public meeting agenda is available in the Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) under Accession No. ML18071A377. A list of attendees and members of the public is included as Enclosure 1.
