OF TELEPHONE CONFERENCE CALL HELD ON AUGUST 30, 2007, BETWEEN THE U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION AND ENTERGY NUCLEAR OPERATIONS, INC., COMMITMENT NO. 47 PERTAINING TO THE PILGRIM NUCLEAR POWER STATION, LICENSE RENEWAL APPLICATION The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC or the staff) and representatives of Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. held a telephone conference call on August 30, 2007, to discuss and clarify commitment No. 47 of the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station, license renewal application.

The telephone conference call was useful in discussing possible commitment No. 47 related action plans. provides a listing of the participants and Enclosure 2 contains a listing of the RAIs discussed with the applicant, including a brief description on the status of the items.

The applicant had an opportunity to comment on this summary.

REQUESTS FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION PILGRIM NUCLEAR POWER STATION LICENSE RENEWAL APPLICATION AUGUST 30, 2007 The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC or the staff) and representatives of Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. held a telephone conference call on August 30, 2007, to discuss and clarify the commitment No. 47 action plan of the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station (PNPS), license renewal application (LRA).

Discussion: During the discussion with the applicant, the staff indicated that the August 23, 2007 Entergy letter delivered to satisfy this commitment requires further discussion. The applicant agreed to additional discussions regarding the action plan.
