This letter is being sent to inform you that we are submitting, under separate cover, the exercise scenario for the April 2-6, 1990, Donald C.Cook Nuclear Plant Emergency Preparedness Exercise to Mr.James Foster, Emergency Preparedness Section.This action is being taken in accordance with your March 16, 1987, letter to Mr.John E.Dolan and I.E.Information Notice 85-55,"Revised Emergency Exercise Frequency Rule." l As stated in our December 29, 1989, letter to you (AEP:NRC:0965R), the exercise is scheduled for the week of April 2, 1990, as an off-hours, unannounced exercise.This will be a joint exercise, with the State of Michigan and Berrien County, Michigan participating to demonstrate specific plume exposure pathway planning objectives.
