EVALUATION OF POTENTIAL MALFUNCTIONS DUE TO HIGH-ENERGY LINE BREAKS NO. 2 UNIT SALEM NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION DOCKET NO. 50-311 In response to your telephone request regarding high-energy line breaks and their potential impact on non-safety grade control systems we reported in our letter of September 10, 1979 to Region I of your Office of Inspection and Enforcement concerning the Salem No. l Unit, we wish to inform you that our response to the Director of Nuclear Reactor Regulation dated October 4, 1979 concerning this issue, applies to Salem No. 2 Unit as well.
