Similarly, on September 25, 1989, the detectors for zones 1-17 and 1-17P (Reactor Building 740') were also taken out of service. These measures were taken as a conservative precaution to prevent spurious zone fire alarms due to extensive welding, cutting, and open flame work being performed in these areas. This special report.is subuitted in accordance with LaSalle Unit 1 Operating License, NPF-11, Appendix A. Technical Specification 3.3.7.9 and 6.6.C.
F On September 20, 1989, the ionization detectors for detection zones 1-16 and l-16P (Reactor Building Primary containment 740' and 761') were taken out of service. Similarly, on September 25, 1989, the detectors for zones 1-17 and 1-17P (Reactor Building 740') were also taken out of service.
