Process steam is created in tertiary heat exchangers designed to isolate such process steam from the primary and secondary systems of the reactor. A monitoring system vill ensure that no radioactivity is added to the feedvater by the process of transforming it to steam in the tertiary system heat exchangers. Waste heat is not radioactive.
