Dear Mr. Miller:

J SiG Massachusetts Institute of Technology submits herewith Revision No. 26 to the

" Safety Analysis Report for the MTT Research Reactor (MITR-II)", Report No MITNE-115 (October 22, 1970), as amended. The purpose of the revision is to update the SAR to reflect several changes that have been made in the facility in recent years.

They have been described in annual reports to NRC, but revised SAR pages have not previously been submitted. describes the revisions and provides instructions for SAR page replacements. The revised pages, with margin lines to indicate the changes, are also enclosed.
