Dear Mr. Denton:

The NRC generic letters for 1981 and 1982 have been reviewed and all pertinent issues contained therein have been addressed.

Apparently several of the 1982 letters were not applicable to Shoreham and were not sent to LILCO.

The disposition of each individual generic letter received by LILCO is stated in attachment 2; references are cited, where appropriate.
