4. - = - l 1 t i i l March 3, 1987 l 1 Honorable Board of Commissioners: I would like to have a Resolution adopted by the Board of Commissioners to ask the Governor to take action concerning l the safety of the Fermi II Nuclear Plant. The plant has recently had several'$ hut Downs". Persons in charge admitted they did not know the exact reason for the " Shut Downs." As recent as Sunday, March 1, there was a. shut down due to " Operator Error." a-I In view of the recent multiple incidents, siren malfunction, l no evacuation road, etc., I think it is time the Board ask the Governor's intervention on behalf of the people. Sincerely. B. C. Pierce cc: Attorney General l l I
