Operating License No. DPR-73 Docket No. 50-320 Inspection Report 84-04 Inspection Report 84-04 involved a special assessment of the GPU Nuclear program for maintaining occupational exposure As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA) at TMI-2. As a result of this assessment, the NRC identified several perceived weaknesses in ALARA implementation. GPU Nuclear responded to the report via letter 4410-85-L-0021, dated January 23, 1985. In response to Item 50-320/84-04-01, GPU Nuclear committed to make certain revisions to the GPU Nuclear Radiation Protection Plan, 1000-PLN-4010.01. These revisions were projected to be implemented in the 3rd quarter of 1985. Due to unforeseen delays in the review process for this corporate-level document, GPU Nuclear now anticipates that the plan revision will not be implemented before the end of 1985.
