lead applicant for the Comanche Peak Steam Electric Station, Units 1 and 2, met with representatives of the Citizens Association for Sound Energy (CASE) to discuss TV Electric's corrective action program as it relates to piping and pipe supports, civil / structural and mechanical. Representatives from NRC's Comanche Peak Project Division, Office of Special Projects and the Office of General Counsel attended this meeting as observers.

Enclosed for the record is a copy of the TV Electric meeting notice (En-closure 1) and the transcript of this meeting and associated presentation materials (Enclosure 2). Since the NRC staff did not participate in this meeting, it is the staff's position that any determination as to whether the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board (ASLB) should be informed of this meeting should be made by the applicant or intervenor. It is the staff's understanding that TV Electric provided the transcript to the ASLB on March 18, 1988. The enclosures to this note are being placed in the NRC Public Document Room and the Local Public Document Room.       (original signed by)
