CONTAMINATION INCIDENT A maintenance worker dropped and broke a flask containing an unknown quantity of technetium-99 solution on his person while installing shielding in the nuclear medicine facilities on May 19.
The material was tracked into the lunch room by the maintenance worker in disregard of instructions by the technician present that he should be decontaminated.
