On October 8,1997 the NRC administered a generic fundamentals examination (GFE) section of the written e perator licensing examination to an employee of your facility. Enclosed with s

this le*ter are copies of both forms of the examination, including answer keys, the grading results for your facility, and a copy of the individual answer sheet for your employee. Seven individuals were administered the examination. Seven passed the examination. Please forward the results to the individual along with the copies of his answer sheet. A "P" in the column labeled RESULTSindicates a passing grade of 80 percent or better on the GFE. Those individuals having an "F" in the RESULTS column failed the examination.
