CASEWORK /RITS/ TAC NOS:                       70398220S/211 AA/L31075 BACKGROUND:             On June 2,1998, a technical assistance request from the Fuel Cycle Licensing Branch was forwarded to the Division of Industrial and Medical Nuclear Safety (IMNS) requesting review of NIST request for exemption from 10 CFR Part 36. IMNS' comments on the NIST request were provided in a memorandum from Larry Camper to Charles Emeigh on October 26,1998. These comments were subsequently transmitted to NIST and NIST has responded by {{letter dated|date=December 23, 1998|text=letter dated December 23,1998}}.
